Keeping sanity during Christmas break..

What do you do while life is different between Christmas and New Years?
This year we started making bread... My 11 year old loves to cook and bake,
so I decided to get out the bread recipe that I use to make years ago.  The kids
were saying yuck, who puts cottage cheese and eggs in bread...  I told them that

there older siblings use to fight over this bread... It never lasted long.  Well,
sure enough... I put the bread in the oven... took it out of the oven ... and then
I had somewhere to go.  When I got home a quarter of a loaf was left out of 2 loaves.

We made it today and again the same thing happened.  If I don't get up early tomorrow,
I won't get any of this bread either.

Next time I think we will make cinnamon raisin bread.

What did you do this week to have fun with the kids?

42 days until the big day

Some really cute items that anyone would love for Christmas.

Something for aunt Mae,  even uncle Joe would like to fight the cold weather with
aloe lotion...  Cousin Marge would love to have the spa collection or body butter.

John the mail carrier would love to have a stocking and lotion to fight the cold weather
and all the paper cuts he get being the in the mail room.

For someone you know who has trouble with blemishes there is the blemish control
line...

Aloe is wonderful for grandma and grandpa, aunt Jane, uncle Joe
the mail lady/man,  hair dresser or anyone on you shopping list.
