What do you do while life is different between Christmas and New Years?
This year we started making bread... My 11 year old loves to cook and bake,
so I decided to get out the bread recipe that I use to make years ago. The kids
were saying yuck, who puts cottage cheese and eggs in bread... I told them that
there older siblings use to fight over this bread... It never lasted long. Well,
sure enough... I put the bread in the oven... took it out of the oven ... and then
I had somewhere to go. When I got home a quarter of a loaf was left out of 2 loaves.
We made it today and again the same thing happened. If I don't get up early tomorrow,
I won't get any of this bread either.
Next time I think we will make cinnamon raisin bread.
What did you do this week to have fun with the kids?

I gave them a list of jobs today... It's so one of them can have friends over tomorrow night. They're enthusiastic so far... We'll see how much I get stuck with.
I LOVE homemade bread and keep the bread machine hopping.
Your bread recipe sounds interesting...I use eggs, but haven't heard about cottage cheese...would like to have your recipe!
My kids are all older age 12 and up so they are spending a lot of time with friends and their older siblings...tomorrow I'm having a baby shower for my daughter which should be lots of fun!
Soon vacation will be over and it will be back to the daily routine. :) Wishing you all the best! I hope you have a wonderful New Year filled with love, great health and plenty of laughter! Happy New Year!
